WHO WE ARE
We are breeders of American Staffords from Slovenia, Dolenjska. Our kennel is registered in the FCI register under number 04/2017. We have been dedicated to breeding this wonderful breed since 2017, although we were introduced to it many years before that.
Our passion for breeding is evident in the dedication, time and energy we invest in each and every dog. We are not only breeders, but also dedicated handlers, trainers, dog lovers and cynologists. Every dog we have is something extraordinary for us, because each one has its own unique potentials, which we persistently develop. Our dogs are not only a part of our lives, they are also an important part of our family.
VISION AND MISSION
Our mission is to provide healthy and stable puppies, but they must not lose even an iota of the temperament that we expect from every American Stafford. This character is key to successful training and working with a dog. Our commitment to breed standard is central, so we carefully select mating combinations, focusing exclusively on proven healthy and stable males. Our goals include achieving excellent results at international dog shows, as well as active participation in working and sports disciplines such as IPO, rescue, obedience and the like. With this, we want to demonstrate and develop the potential of our dogs and contribute to the comprehensive progress of the breed.
About the American Staffordshire Terrier breed
Dogs of this breed are very attentive, friendly and intelligent. By character, they are excellent watchdogs and protective of their family. The Stafford is a very happy and self-confident dog that, with proper socialization and training, can be gentle and loving towards people, children and other animals. He is kind-hearted, funny, very loyal and ready to please his owner.
He is very attached to his family, which is why he is an excellent family companion. It is also a brave, reliable and intelligent guard dog, full of life. It needs a lot of physical activity and mental stimulation, and is more suitable for owners who have experience in raising and training. He can stay in an apartment without any problems, with suitable outdoor activities.

Daughter Pia actively participates in the operation of the kennel. He often takes care of adult dogs when we are away at shows. She is also active in the care and socialization of puppies.
OUR VIEW ON BREEDING
What does it mean to be a breeder? This title is extremely important to us, as we take it extremely seriously. Our roots go back a long way, as we planned for years and years before registering our kennel with the FCI. The rules we established back then are still the foundation of our breeding today. Breeding is not limited to litters and puppies, but is part of our everyday life. Caring for our dogs, daily walks, training, socialization, exhibitions and breeding are an integral part of our everyday life. We should not overlook the fact that we have to give up many things. Putting our dogs first before all other needs comes naturally to us. We hardly ever have days off, and when we do take a vacation, we are always accompanied by some of our dogs. They are our first concern when we wake up and our last before going to sleep.
As our kennel grows year by year, this means for us even more work and even less free time, even more financial inputs and investments, more training and more exhibitions.
We often hear from friends or acquaintances: “You can make a lot of money with this”. If we look superficially, it seems that breeding is profitable. However, this applies mainly to “backyard breeding”. What exactly is this? These are self-proclaimed breeders who have one female, possibly a male, and have a litter once a year. Their breeding work begins and ends here. Our story is far from that. The financial contributions we dedicate to our dogs and all related matters are much greater than our income. Without full-time jobs, we certainly wouldn’t have been able to do this. Constant investments in their environment and space to have the best conditions are continuous. Travel, exhibitions, registrations, handling – all these represent huge costs. Bills for health tests and veterinary services are enormous. Investments in litters and care for mothers increase every year, as we strive to offer the puppies even more. Do not forget about quality nutrition. However, this is the price we are willing to pay to give our dogs, both adults and puppies, the best care.
