AMSTAFF MAJOR 2026
KASKARA & LUCY LIU
Timișoara, Romania – October 31, 2026
At the end of October, Romania hosted one of the most prestigious specialty shows dedicated exclusively to the American Staffordshire Terrier – AMSTAFF MAJOR 2026.
This year’s event took place in Timișoara, Romania, bringing together breeders, exhibitors and enthusiasts of the breed from numerous countries. With 163 American Staffordshire Terriers entered, the show once again demonstrated its importance on the international Amstaff scene.
What exactly is Amstaff Major?
Amstaff Major is not an ordinary all-breed dog show. It is one of the largest international specialty shows dedicated exclusively to the American Staffordshire Terrier.
Each year, this prestigious event moves to a different country, bringing together outstanding representatives of the breed, experienced breeders and exhibitors from across Europe and beyond. Over the years, the event has visited several countries, including Serbia, Croatia, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Spain and Russia.
For breeders, Amstaff Major is a particularly important opportunity to present their breeding programs, compare the quality of their dogs on an international level and meet fellow enthusiasts who share the same passion for this remarkable breed.
It is an event where the breed itself takes centre stage.

For us, events like Amstaff Major are about much more than titles, placements and trophies. They are about dedication to the breed, continuous development, shared experiences and the opportunity to see some of the finest American Staffordshire Terriers from around the world.
Every show brings new challenges, new experiences and valuable opportunities to learn.
We would like to congratulate the organizers on a successful event, thank both judges for their evaluations, and send our congratulations to all exhibitors and friends who made this weekend special.
