As 2024 draws to a close, we enter the next year with a sense of a brand new beginning.
Although there are moments of this year that we would gladly leave behind and erase, 2024 was a year of great change.
That is why we should not forget it, but draw valuable lessons and experiences from it.
January - new victories and new beginnings
We started 2024 with great news: Joker became the new champion of Slovakia! His dedication and charisma have taken us to a new level of pride and admiration. In January, we were energised for the challenges ahead, knowing that we were in for an extraordinary year.
February - anticipation of new lives
In February we were happy to see the confirmed pregnancy of our Jackpot, who was expecting a litter with the male Opium Black Long Step. This news filled us with joy and anticipation, because we knew that this litter promised great things, and we were right.
March - Jackpot litter and outstanding achievements
Our Jackpot became for the first time a proud mother of 5 amazing puppies. They brought new, fresh energy to our kennel again.
At the same time, G Power achieved a great success at the Prilep Spring Cup Show and became the new Junior Champion of Macedonia.
March was also the time when we found out about the outstanding achievement of our kennel – four of our dogs became TOP TERRIER SLOVENIA: Joker in 1st place, Jackpot in 2nd place, G Power in 3rd place and Cookie in 7th place. This was a truly magnificent confirmation of our dedication and quality.
April - great achievements
April brought even more achievements. Cookie won 2x CAC, 2x CACIB and 2x Best of Breed at Barje Winner Slovenia, thus completing her journey to the INTER CH title.
G Power Long Step Double Trouble AST also completed his first adult championship and became the new champion of Serbia – a great victory that confirmed his outstanding potential.
May - farewell and a new beginning
In May we said goodbye to litter P, from which we kept Pussy Cat, who promised great achievements with her energy and potential.
At the same time, we welcomed a new litter of 8 healthy and promising Aska puppies. This moment was a symbol of transition – from goodbye to new life.
June - Hulk and Nina at a rescue dog event
June brought a special event when our rescue dog HULK took part in the Jernej Molan Barracks Open Day as part of the K9 Novo mesto rescue dog unit.
Together with representatives of the Slovenian Armed Forces, the rescue dog handlers and their dogs presented the charity work we do. Hulk was, as always, the biggest attraction, because it’s not every day you get to meet an American Staffordshire Terrier as a Search and Rescue dog.
July - G's achievement and farewell to the litter
In July, G Power achieved another victory and became the Hungarian Champion, which was a testament to his magnificence and strength.
We also said goodbye to the puppies from Aska’s litter. They have all found their best owners and homes.
August - Exhibition Achievements Month
August was a truly remarkable month for us, full of pride, joy and hard work.
We started with ISTRA DOG SHOW, where Pussy Cat achieved excellent result – Minor Puppy Best in Show 3. Her mother, Jackpot, finished Grand Champion of Slovenia at this show.
In August Jackpot surprised everyone again at the Polhograjski Dolomiti show, where she won 2x BOB and R. Best Dog of the Day.
August was a very busy month for Pussy Cat, as she took part in the Dog Show Posuša, – Supreme Baby Best in Show. Our Joker was also present at this show and he also achieved excellent results: 4x BOB, 4x BOG, 1x BIS 1 and 1x BIS 2. In addition, Joker finished his championship in Montenegro.
At the Nekmar Cup Golubovci Pussy Cat got 2x Baby BIS, which was a great end to a month full of successes.
September - pain and pride
September brought a bitter moment as our beloved Search and Rescue dog Hulk left us forever. He was the heart and soul of our kennel, a symbol of strength, courage and love. His immeasurable influence on our lives and our kennel will remain with us forever.
But it was also a month of exhibition successes. G Power became Macedonian Champion and Macedonian Grand Champion. Pussy Cat also shone at the Ohrid Pearls show, winning the prestigious BEST IN SHOW titles, and she also achieved similar outstanding results at the Kosovo show.
Despite these achievements, this September will remain in our memory as the month of the greatest loss, which left a great void. Unfortunately, no victory can fill that void.
OCTOBER - EURO DOG SHOW
In October we achieved some really amazing successes at the European Dog Show in Celje.
Pussy Cat became Puppy European Champion and impressed by winning the Puppy Best of Day category. Finally, we brought home something we didn’t expect – R.PUPPY BEST IN SHOW.
Joker and G Power won their classes in strong competition, and Jackpot came an excellent third. These achievements are a testament to the top quality and dedication of our team.
NOVEMBER - CONTINUING THE SUCCESSES
November was a month of new achievements. At the Alpe Adria Winner show, Pussy Cat shone and won the title Puppy Best in Show.
In addition, we took part in the very strong Pannon Cup Specialty, where we once again proved our quality and dedication, as our dogs once again stood out and took home numerous awards.
G Power also completed another adult championship – BIH Champion and Grand Champion
December - Memories of 2024
December was a time when we took a moment to be with our families and reflect back on 2024, a time when we were still healing the wounds of a great loss, but still looked back on all the achievements that had accompanied us throughout the year.
We are proud of our successes at dog shows, where our dogs have stood out and won many titles, and we have also achieved important milestones in breeding.
The year 2024 has been full of challenges and memorable moments that have shaped us as a team.
Although we cannot yet fully assess whether this will be a year that will mark us in a negative or positive way, we are grateful for all the support of those around us who have stood by us through the ups and downs.
